Sarah Jayne has been so excited as the day grew nearer and that has been catching.

Then I had to wait for a suitable time for my daughter to go shopping with me for my outfit. Fortunately we were able to find something suitable that day.  Then I had to wait until I could shop for shoes and a handbag.

All this has brought to mind the verse, “We will wait upon the Lord”.  Psalm 27:14

Isa 40:31

What does this mean?  We can’t wait on him as Jesus ‘waited’ on his disciples, washing their feet before the Last Supper.

Surely it means waiting on him in our prayers.  Giving him time, which I find difficult in my busy life as I’m sure you do, for us to listen to him, for him to influence our lives and the way we should be going.  This space is what we need for healthy bodies, minds and spirits.
