NPNP Lead Officer, 50% Military Facing - District Role
NPNP Lead Officer-50% military facing (permanent)
Hours of work: 37 per week, to be worked flexibly
Pay: £44,000 per annum (equivalent to £22.87 per hour)
Ministers would be subject to the normal terms & conditions
Normal place of work: Home based with travel throughout the Southampton Methodist District area
Purpose of Role:
To grow and strengthen the New Places for New People movement by leading a district‑wide culture of innovation, relationship‑building and community formation. The role centres on enabling new Christian communities to emerge and thrive - accompanying local leaders, guiding early‑stage development, and shaping long‑term sustainability.
Working across both Methodist Circuit and Armed Forces contexts, the postholder will build strategic partnerships, listen deeply to communities, and translate insight into action. This is a role for a relational leader who can inspire vision, connect stakeholders, and support teams to create new expressions of Christian community where they are most needed.
