Saturday 7th Dec saw the 4th Walking Nativity Walk around the streets of Copnor, Portsmouth.
Over 450 people made the way through the back streets of Copnor. Led by a couple of real life donkeys they sang carols, heard the Bible account of the birth of Jesus, were joined by Angels, Shepherds, Wise Men and a whole host of people. The throng ended up at Copnor Methodist Church for the final part of the story and enjoyed Mince Pies and Methodist Mulled Wine.
The Girls and Boys Brigade companies attached to the church took the lead in arranging this highly successful, intergenerational mission.
Those attending on the day were all given a goody bag, with some chocolates, a bauble, a booklet retelling the Christmas story and an invitation to come to an intergenerational follow up event in January.
