MWiB District Day

‘Women Creating Hope’ will be our theme for worship and workshops. A speaker from ‘One Small Thing’ will describe their Hope Street Women’s Centre in Southampton. We shall also welcome back Gabby North to give an update on the Leprosy Mission initiative that we have supported this year.  Come and share fellowship with women from right across the Southampton Methodist District. Drinks will be provided, but do bring a packed lunch. If you can only join us for part of the day, that’s fine, but do come and bring a friend or two.

And our District Celebration later in the year will be on Saturday 4^th October at Romsey Methodist Church. Leonora Wassell, co chair of MWiB, will be our keynote speaker. She has recently been in New York attending the United Nations’ Commission on the Status of Women.  Rev Andrew De Ville will lead a bible study. Do save the date and let other women in your circuit know about this event.
