Carolyn Godfrey has been the Regional Officer for Safeguarding for both the Darlington and Newcastle Districts since early 2015. Before this she worked in education and has a background in pastoral care and special needs, mostly focused in the primary sector. She feels strongly that a good safeguarding culture is central to our calling to be a growing, inclusive, evangelistic and justice seeking church.
Carolyn served as the Vice President of the Methodist Conference 2024-2025.

** Several women usually attend this event from our District, so if you are interested, please let me know. We look forward to seeing you there, and can possibly offer help with transport.
