Are you a new circuit steward, or have been one for a while and are looking to dive deeper in to your roles & responsibilities and develop your skills and knowledge?
This 6 session course takes place on Tuesday evenings, 7-9pm, from 20th Jan-24th Feb, 2026. The course will:
- introduce new and existing stewards to the role and responsiblities
- refresh Circuit Stewards in their ongoing learning and development
- encourage local and connexional peer support among circuit stewards
- encourage a reflective journey rooted in mission and vocation
- signpost and connect to relevant resources.
Each session will offer opportunities to explore ideas and share experiences as well as identify areas for further action, and ongoing learning and development particularly in these areas:
Session 1: Stewarding God's Mission - 20th Jan
Session 2: Governance as Mission - 27th Jan
Session 3: Leadership as Mission - 3rd Feb
Session 4: Management as Mission - 10th Feb
Session 5: What's Next? - 17th Feb
Session 6: Mission Planning - 24th Feb
