Pioneer Pastor - Fordingbridge (permanent)

Hours of work:                26 per week, to be worked flexibly

Pay:                               £16.48 per hour (Equivalent to £31,707 pro rata)

Normal place of work:     This role is focussed on the town of Fordingbridge, initially starting as a work from home post

Purpose of Role:             To bring Good News to the people of Fordingbridge, through pioneering new expressions of church in the community and through finding the most appropriate ways to introduce the Christian faith by working with schools, frontline agencies, businesses and local government.

Community Development Worker, Easton - Dorset, South and West

The Dorset South and West Methodist Circuit is seeking an enthusiastic, missional person for the Full-time role of Community Development Worker (Easton), based at Easton Methodist Church (EMC), Portland, Dorset.

We seek someone able to be the embedded community leader and local face of Easton Methodist Church, supported by the Minister, to reach deeper into the community, to share the truth and love of Jesus and to grow the community of faith.  Our desire is that EMC is a flourishing and growing church, that seeks to actively support the people of Portland, under God’s grace in acts of worship, service and mission.

The applicant will be a team orientated collaborator, and a strong communicator, who is comfortable talking to people of all ages and all walks of life, sharing faith with those you meet.

The post is for 37.5 hours per week (Full-time), including some evenings and weekend work. 

The salary is £26910 per annum. We provide the option to join our Pension scheme provided by NEST, with a 6% monthly contribution.

Circuit Property & Resources Officer - East Solent & Downs Circuit

Do you have experience in managing properties? Have you a reasonable working knowledge of building maintenance, including financial implications and budget planning? Could you harness your networking skills to build an efficient and reliable team of skilled workers to call on? If so, this may be the job for you.

East Solent &Downs Circuit is looking someone to fill the post of Circuit Property & Resources Officer.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and maintaining the various properties in the Circuit and will work with the Circuit Treasurer to monitor property expenditure budgets. They will also be a vital point of contact for the 18 circuit churches providing support and advice in relation to a range of property matters.

Salary:                £17.97 per hour   (£14,017 actual annual salary)

Working hours:  15 hours per week during week days with some agreed flexibility regarding weekends and evenings
